Our approach to rehabilitation brings structure to our patients’ lives. Our multi-disciplinary therapeutic teams assess each individual’s needs and a tailored programme of activities and therapy goals is drawn up. Progress against this therapeutic regime is reviewed regularly and changes made to it as necessary.

By closely monitoring our therapeutic inputs, we ensure that every patient has the best chance of acquiring the skills and structure to integrate into the community. Cambian provides auditable assessments and written reviews throughout the process for transparency and to enable patients, carers, referrers and family to monitor progress.

At the end of the programme, our goal is to enable the patient to be removed from Section wherever possible and prioritised for community-based services. Cambian works closely with the Patient, the PCT and our partners to identify suitable placement options.
